Collage Memory (2017)
Alexander Köppel
During his internship at the Spatial Sound Institute, Alexander Köppel developed and performed a 35’ piece based on the notion of manipulated memory. With three sound sculptures he invites the listener to explore the attempt of going back to a specific moment, playing with the subtle changes and details of perception and manipulation within the act of remembering.
“I tried to build sound spaces that come and go, that open up, invite you in, or build up around you, but then leave you a bit uncertain with your joy, uncertain about what happened within them, or what had happened to you while listening”.
