Alyssa Miserendino

Alyssa Miserendino creates artwork as a catalyst for transformation. Driven by her interest in paradox and connection, she is inspired by research in physics, philosophy, psychology, astronomy, myth, magic, music and poetry.

Since her undergraduate fellowship award, from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago , her work has since been supported by organizations & corporations such as the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, ARUP, Genelec, DPA Microphones and TED. She completed her Masters in Fine Art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently teaching at The Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University and Guilford College.
