Lukas Rehm
Lukas Rehm (*1989 in Memmingen, DE) is an artist and musician working in the field of new media, installation art, documentary and experimental fiction. His artistic works examine conditions and the theatrics of social structures, the impact of (new) technological artifacts and the role of affect. He released his debut album „Syncleft Chronem“ under the pseudonym LYBES DIMEM in 2018 via SVS Records, following a residency at the Spatial Sound Institute in 2016. Lukas Rehm’s installations, spatial compositions and audiovisual shows have been presented internationally at the Fridman Gallery, New York (US), the Nordic House Reykjavik (IS), and nationally at the ZKM Institute for Music and Acoustics (DE) and the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn (DE), et al. His accolades include the grant for New Music Forms of Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg and the Federal Price for Art Students (2017). Lukas is the projects composer, moving image artist and co-director.
