Lisa Park

Lisa Park (b. 1987) is an American-born, Korean-raised artist living in New York. Park is a recipient of NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) Fellowship in the category of Digital/Electronic Arts. She is selected to be an inaugural member of NEW INC, New Museum’s first museum-led incubator program in art, technology, and design.

In her recent bodies of works, the artist has been working with biofeedback devices (heart rate sensors, commercial brainwave headsets) to display physiological measurements as auditory and visual representations. These performances explored the possibilities of self-monitoring her physical and psychological states.

Her works were featured on Wired, The Creators Project, Hyperallergic, MIT Press ‘A Journal of Performance And Art,' BBC's 'Technobabble', The New York Times' Bits Blog, Time Out New York, New York Post, Daily News, PBS ‘Off Book Series’, KBS Documentary, and many other publications.
