Duarte Eduardo

Duarte Eduardo a young artist born in 1997 researches and creates innovative ways to ignite action and imagination regarding social issues through experimental sound and media, focusing mainly in climate and environmental topics.

In 2021 Duarte Eduardo presented his warrant awarded debut album “Life in Warp”, made entirely from sounds of endangered animal species. Since 2020 he has enrolled in an art residency program with 4DSOUND, organized weekly artivism workshops, and scored an experimental short film and an interdisciplinary performance. He currently teaches art to elementary students and explores the fields of sound ecology, field recording and artivism.
