From October 2015 until May 2023, the Institute hosted a multidisciplinary programme that significantly contributed to cultivate spatial sound as a creative practice and an emerging area of study. During this period, the Institute was housed over 3 floors of the AQB arts complex in Budapest, on the banks of the river Danube. The facility was centered around a large-scale omnidirectional sound system designed by 4DSOUND, custom-built into the renovated architecture of the warehouse.
